A thousand worlds apart
But it feels like we’re side by side
I wonder what you’re doing
And if you still think of me
My heart feels that ache
And I’m missing you always
But no matter how far away you are
We’re galaxies together.
Sure you’ve passed on
And I have to fend for myself now
But I can still feel you next to me, smiling.
You fill my heart with life
You fill my life with love
And I’ll always miss your comfort
But no matter how away you are
We’re galaxies together.
Mama says you’re gone
Daddy says so too
And no matter how much I believe it’s not true
The headstone makes it reality
You’re my friend and family
You’ll be with me ‘til the end
And no matter how far away you are
We’re galaxies together.
